One of the things that's become obvious to me is songwriting is part skill and part art. Becoming a better songwriter requires achievement in both of these areas. Progress doesn't always come easily or evenly. But its the love of writing songs that propels me forward. I assume it does the same for you. The rewards often are internal as there are many thankless chores to compete. I made the commitment to build this website because I believe we all can be better songwriters if we choose to try.
