A song is your song if you write it yourself. It doesn't matter what resources you use to do so.

Yeah some hooks are cliches that have been around for hundreds of years, like Jon Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet". But he took the phrase and made it into a song. So he used both a pre-existing term or phrase but put it into HIS song. Slippery When Wet has been seen in every commercial establishment known to man, he just saw a vision or picture of something other than the floor that got slippery when wet. Go look at the album cover, you'll understand how this is really a unique quality some writers have.

Don't beat yourself up about it but don't rely on a software system to actually write something for you, it will never work out, or won't work out as well as it could if you did the Majority on your own or co-write.
