I like it overall - short but substantial. I like the lines about how "what goes up must come down" and how "you're almost as fake as your plastic crown". Also, a "puppet master" is called a "puppeteer" in case you want to change it.

Your chorus is better broken up into a chours(s)
Watch the wording, although you are not as wordy as some you run on with additional words that are not needed and will make putting a melody to it hard.
finish it up and put a simple rhythm background to it and it may prove up.
