Into the Wild Blue /rock

by John Tzikas
(Toronto Ontario Canada)

INTO THIS WILD BLUE

Flight risk romances
In my age of decadence
Into this wild blue
People and places I become
Moon divers go on a plunge

Now as I digress
I succeed at politics
And on our civil nights
I’m the man I lose sight of
Skin crawlers dusting for ticks

And when I seduce
I turn both sides on another
And on our war-stricken days
I’m the man I want to lose
Box store bins crawling with hits

Slight obscenities
In the zones of submergence
Into this wild blue
People and places become me
Sink scrubbers sail on a sponge
