Just comes with a hum.

by Doc Haley
(Red River, NM)

I'm retired. 58 this July. Been writing, picking, grinning, and enjoying front and back porch music since I was 17.

I'm an ASCAP member and a TAXI member.

My ideas come to me by hearing or seeing something happen in life and then it just sticks with me during the day until i end up humming out a tune and singing randomly to the tune. It just seems to come out. Then all at once I have this feeling i better get it down on paper or i'm about to forget some of what i have been humming and singing.

That's it.

My biggest problem is getting good demos made. I have several groups playing my music in NM and CO and TX. They make them sound wonderful. I'd like to find a way to do a good enough demo that i may be able to send in a few submissions that i am proud of.

BIAB was a real poor experience for me. The instruments were way too synthesized and working the demo program was horrible IMHO.

Is there a school, class, place a person can go to learn BIAB or other product and hopefully one with a much better sound to it than what i experienced?

Thanks
Doc Haley
