"landet in a smile"

by Linda
(Denmark)

English is not my native lanquage so I just want to put a phrase to the test and see if it makes any sence at all.

The song im working on is about how you sometimes wake up and with the feeling that you havent spend your time on earth on anything meaningful, and there is a phrase I have doubts about.

It goes

"I didnt see it coming, I was landet in a smile"

With this phrase im trying to describe that the person im writing about is "landet" in a "smile" where the person thinks that everything is ok towards the things the person wants, event though it isnt.. and the person knows it deep inside.. so in other word the phrase describes a form of self deception.

so my question is..

Does make any sence.. and can you even say that.. :

"I didnt see it coming, I was landet in a smile"

Hope to hear from you...
