Latch key kid "rap lyrics"

I thought I'd incorperate rap into a song. Let me know if you like it. Leave a comment.

This latch key kid's living life like a mule in a mine
Work was never worth the pay for the time
He slaved to the bone till the bones were grown
He moved out the house and made the streets his home
He never had a comforter to be thrown for all hes done
He always stepped out his comfort zone
He don't abide by the law
He just buys by the pound
Living life to the fullest by the ounce
Thats the way he gets down
It may be foolish but not "when your life don't count"
Hes been down to the bottom of the bottle
Stared down a double barrel
Sped death up full throttle
Stick em up, stick em up, stick em up, stick em
When he mobs with the boys they wont call him chicken
He did it for the rush of the day
The stress of poverte`(slang)
At this rate he'll die in his early twene`s (slang)
Hes hearing but it aint sinking in
He'll just live his life the way he's been living
