mobile phones - object writing.
Phones. Many different shapes and sizes and colours and brands and types. I remember when there weren't any mobile phones. When they looked like satellites. They were huge. Hahah you needed a whole bag just to transport your mobile phone. They dont smell like anything. They shouldnt at least. Let me smell mine. Hold on a second. No. I just sniffed mine. Deeply. For five whole sniffs and it smells like nothing. Not even plastic. It feels all sleek and smooth. They normally break. Which is annoying. But i never bother to buy a new one. I just wait for someone to give me their old one or someone buys me one for a gift that i didnt even want in the first place. I dont like phones really. Who knows what they do to us. Maybe they're tracking devices. Why do we need phones anyway? We used to get by with regular landline phones. Maybe society would be better without phones. People wouldnt be late so often. Or cancel so easily. We wouldnt be able to. We might talk to each other too. Instead of pretending to look at our phones lest we actually make conversation with a stranger or unfamiliar person. And we might learn to be by ourselves. Why as soon as our friend leaves the table to go to the bathroom do we pick up our phones? Are we that alone? Are we that afraid? Oh my. Somebody might actually think you're a loser for waiting for your friend. Really? I dont think so. We've been conditioned. Who cares what your phone looks like? Does it define you? Ultimatley you want it to dial out and ring in. What more do you actually NEED from a phone? Apps for this. Apps for that. Apps for my ass. People dont even wear watches anymore. Or have alarm clocks. Mobile phones are destroying clocks like plastic cards are destroying hard cash. Save the clocks!
