"One Cold February Morning."lyrics I remember walking the plank One cold february morning And I could feel the embers burning at the bottom of my feet I wasn't sure if they were watching But I felt their icy heartless stares Scimitars prodding at my back And a pride they wish was theirs Screaming and cheering, I tried to block them out but instead A swarm of controversial voices Assembled in my head And they said Go for it, Bobby jump, All the world is in your favor now You've underestimated your surroundings But I'm sure that we can work something out, If you jump now.. Take a deep breath and, Bobby don't, All the world can be in your favor now We know its been a bumpy year for you Since you've let your guard down But I'm sure we can figure this all out Please step back now I remember my hands tied behind my back And they had blindfolded my eyes I remember being predisposed to this catastrophic end ...And it was about time. As I practically paced on the wooden ledge With the bitter air stinging my skin I molded a pose, braced myself and composed But my mind was thinking different Treading on the edge now I tried for once to think for myself But a swarm of biased voices Were inclined on something else And they said Go for it, Bobby jump, All the world is in your favor now You've underestimated your surroundings But I'm sure we can work something out, If you jump now. Take a deep breath and, Bobby don't, All the world can be in your favor now We know its been a bumpy year for you Since you've let your guard down But I'm sure we can figure this all out Please step back now There's no beginning to this story Just regrets from a former mind The air stinging my fingertips Can only remind me The doubt that comes with knowing And all the thoughts I left behind I guess I should've known it then And for that I apologize And although I'm sinking into a swarm Of such useless memories They're the only things that caress me as I disappear into the sea Voices yet again praying for me to wash up ashore What about my voice?
