is pretty much a full service website. It has various fun activities for you besides looking up your word. For instance they have Word of the Year, Vision Quest, and Come on in and SPELL IT.
It also has Merriam-Webster's Befudiom® Its a idiom word game that lets you draw, act, shout, or spell. You try to mix up meanings and things are easier said than done.

has which includes a translator, world atlas, quizzes & games and numerous categories of science. They use the Marriam-Webster software.
ThinkMap Visual Thesaurus
is a unique website that lets you see visually how words are related to each other. They use a very interesting special display. It’s my favorite and worth checking out.
MSN Encarta
is online. No fancy games etc but will do the job and give you access to all the Encarta playthings.
WebWord
online has basic website that seems to work well.
