I'm gonna have to agree with both. If when you read the lyrics they don't flow together it'll be hard to put it melody to and sing. The structure is a little off but with some work which is what we are all here for it would be a very good song. I'm from Nashville currently serving a tour in Iraq. I got a few months left over here and i'll be home where I have a deal waiting for me. I'm just here trying to get some feedback on my lyrics and maybe even find a co-write. But great deep lyrics.

You need to start over and remember that if you cannot read the lyrics as smoothly as if it were a poem then it most likely won't work with a tune.
Just keep the "vvc - bridge - song break - vc - end song" approach to start with.
