Good heart-felt pop lyrics but the story is a little confusing in places. The singer initially tells this person to leave, then it appears that this person left of their own accord and that's why the singer is hurt? Needs a bit of a re-write so that the story flows in a logical order. Keep going, lots of potential.

I'm more blues, CW, hill-billy.
However, with what i have heard of current pop, and depending on who's singing it and how it is presented you could have a good tune on your hands.
I regularly see lyrics without any music or melody and it's really hard to make a definitive decision without hearing something.
