Set in Stone Lyrics I'm a 14 year old girl,and I wrote this a few weeks ago and would really appreciate some constructive criticism on it. And also, what do you think about the name? have any better suggestions? Thanks!! This diamond scene won't break Slicing through my mind like It's the simplest thing Yet it's the most complex with the highest respect among all the other stones Why can't the good ones stay the same? Why can't the bad ones ever change? This is the pattern that we live without an ending So,we set a new date when the last has passed, Cause that's never going to happen,but everything good must Come to an end (chorus) Our highest expectations have the highest of our doubts, And the endless complications never cease to come about If you write it down your way, it will be scribbled out Because, what's right is wrong unless you sing it in a song and that's what we've been doing all along, that's what we've been doing all along (end chorus) My pen is mightier than your sword, as long as you don't listen to every word Hit us with the truth and we refuse to believe We're always searching for a happy ending Why do you think that we deceive, ourselves? Or do you really want to know? (chorus) Thanks again!!! I've already shown them to some other people, but i'm not sure if they liked them or not If you leave feedback, please say your age!
