Singer who needs to make "rough drafts" of songs July 30, 2008 From: Lynnie.nyc@gmail.com
I am interested in making "rough drafts" of songs since all I can do on my own is keyboard and one lead and one harmony track. That leaves me with needing a lead guitar sound and a bass guitar sound, and of course, a drum sound.
The point is to avoid rehearsals and to approach bands up front with material that they may or may not want to work with. I need a band who will do gigs with me. This is the only way I can get the process moving.
I do 60's Garage style.
The songs are short, there is harmony but a hardhitting electric guitar sound with all the wa wa's etc would be great. Once again, a "rough draft". The rest can come later.
What do you suggest for someone that can't spend more than 750.00 if that?
I know about Audacity but I am willing to keep this as low cost as possible.
