I really liked this... especially the reference to losing a bet when you've gone all in. That was particularly effective and really deomonstrated that feeling of pain and dread whilst still being a little quirky. I thought the bridge in comparison to the rest of the song was a little simple and you could do more with it... overall it was absolutely wonderful :)

Hi,

My name is James Hill as you already know. The song lyrics I have posted here are all on my myspace music page with music. Well, it's just me and my guitar. I'm currently deployed to Iraq and this is where I am doing my songwriting and recording for now and the quality of the recordings aren't great but it's hard to get good quality over here. I'm working on recording them all again and getting them as perfect as I can. I have a promotion company wanting to help me get started. I'm looking more towards the performing part than I am writing. It's hard to get a start in the business without doing some of your own stuff though. I have a buddy in my unit who is co-writing with me and we are working on getting a band together for when we get home. I love these lyrics to this song and I would love to maybe do a co-write with you sometime if you would be interested.
