SongWork - Steve Seskin

Songwork is run by Steve Seskin, hit Nashville "A List" songwriter. He started the site and has built it to share what he's learned as a songwriter with 35 years experience. Steve is a master story teller who's songs reach out and touch you.

Steve has written hits for Tim McGraw, Mark Wills, Neal McCoy, Michael Montgomery, Richochet, Colin Raye, Kenny Chesney, Waylen Jennings and others. His songs have sold over 40 million units. He has co-written with Bon Jovi, Frampton, Keith Urban,Oliva Newton John and many others.

I've taken a number of courses from Steve Seskin and he's about as good as it gets for songwriting instruction. Steve also is a great performer in his own right. He writes some of the most powerful and touching songs I've heard.

Steve an amazing instructor and has also assembled the best teachers he knows as faculty on his website. They also are great songwriting instructors.

The current instructors are Pat Pattison (Professor at Berklee College of Music and writer "Writing Better Lyrics", Andrea Stolpe (instructor at Berklee Colege of Music, staff writer and author of Lyric Writing: 10 Steps to Effective Storytelling", Jimmy Kachulis (teacher at Berklee College of Music and author of three books), and Bonnie Hayes - hit songwriter.

I've taken courses from two of his teachers, Pat Pattison and Bonnie Hayes and can attest to how good they are. They will provide you passionate, knowledgeable and precise insights into your songs.

Get ready for a host of handy songwriting tools to hone your songwriting craft. Steve and Pat have taught a lot together and it shows. They are entertaining and a wonderful compliment to each other's songwriting skills. They give you specific examples and things to try on your song.

The use of videos on this site is extensive and very instructive with real songwriting examples. Demonstrations of how others and you can improve your songs.

SongWork is a paid membership video streaming site. When you join up you get to view videos in three categories. 1 Getting Started, 2. Doing the Work and 3. After the Song Works.

You can also sign up for song critiques. I've had critiques done of my work by Steve, Pat and Bonnie. You'll get world class feedback. It doesn't get any better than this as you basically go one on one for personal feedback.

You can watch other songwriters work on their songs, receiving and responding to expert suggestions and advice with these amazing teachers. New content will be regularly added to the site.

The special discount introductory cost to be a SongWork member started at $49.99! After the testing phase Regular Membership cost will increase. Songwork is really worth checking out.
