My days without you I'd have to overcome;
for the last two months had been hard on everyone,
My last seventeen years had always been okay;
Until mid-afternoon on that one Sunday.

In the back of my mind i figured this is what you want;
your life without me to ruin all your fun,
Even though I knew this couldn't be true;
I decided to myself that I had to let go of you.

Every Sunday I think to myself;
what would like be like if I never left your house,
Every Sunday it always gets to me;
All the good times we'd have that will never get to be.

The past is the past and has already come and gone;
we must look into the future at what we will become,
What happened to me I wish upon noone;
It is terrible to lose the ones that you love.

Despite my actions and my flaws;
They should have forgave me for I am there son,
Nobody is perfect, they need to understand;
and that I am not a kid anymore, I am a man.
