There once was a girl, with a broken heart. She did all she could, to help fix her heart, but her heart was really damaged. The guy who broke her spirit, and whom she thought was the one, tore and ripped her heart apart, (then crushed it.) After all of that, she refuses, to believe that love doesn't exist. (Cause it does exist.) Cause really, all of that, helps create, new love as a matter of fact.

That girl may seem naïve, not so smart, just look in, skin deep. She's really stronger than you think. She holds herself up high, no matter the situation, as you may think. There's no one that can tell her otherwise, so believe her now, she is her own women, with no surprise.

Her torn heart was put back together with tape. The tape might not be able to hold all the pieces together but it's a start. During the thunderstorm, the tape can release, letting the hurt come back in.
