What kind of classes before and in collage should I take to become a songwriter ?

What kind of classes before and in collage should I take to become a songwriter?

I'm wanting to write musicals and maybe write some other songs, too. I'm also writing normal songs that you might hear on radios today and I'm a good singer and have a good backup singer but am still in need of instrument players and sheet music writers, cause I can only write the lyrics and come up with a tune to sing them at.

I'm wondering what classes (other than my choir) I could take in high school and collage to write and sing in and out of musical, drama type songs. I'm clueless on what to do? what to take? Who to talk to? and How to start? I've written 18 songs in the past 2 months and seem to be doing okay at the song writing but I don't know how to make it into a career.

Please help me, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
