We most likely can't help you much.
by: Doc Haley

Writing is a personal journey. You'll have to pick out an experience in YOUR life that touched you (good or bad) and go from there.

All writers skip through love, hate, joy, children, parents, lovers, and so on in terms of life experiences but you'll have to sit and figure this one out.

Don't make it too much a story instead of a song but make the song tell the whole story by inference.

You'll do good, just know it's a long journey but one you can enjoy every time you sit to write.
And use the journal suggestion that was posted earlier, it'll be really helpful for you.
