You go to it, you come home from it,you do your very best to avoid it. like a train passed through a hallway you can't quite contain it. so you loath it and you dress it up as though it has to be done. but so does an essay with a time limit son. so enjoy your weekends while they count down to launch you back into a weekday where your free as you can bee in that box. but you need to succeed at a place that you hate. if you want to move forward inside that box. and maybe you can hit the top of this box, or the next one above. if you come in on weekends and succeed, or be lucky. so wrap up your insides, and put on a smiled face. pasted like glue to a chalkboard for 44 hours to waste. you could be at the beach or at church if you like. or hide out by the overpass and smoke crack rocks to pass the time. if that's your thing. but you need to buy a car that would get you to the beach. and you need to buy church clothes or crack rocks. so in order to do what you love most in life. you put up with the strife of work, and you love it. because it fills up your day like a 3d tv, or a facebook account that's lit up ON your tv. or a twitter account that lets you in on the secrets to life, posted every 2 minutes between a bagel and your favourite song. rant as much as you can in 10 minutes, that's funny. cuz my break is only 15 and 2/3s is now gone. but i'd give it up gladly if it meant this would work. and i become a better songwriter, so i don't have to work.
